CIRCUMFERENCE GROUP APPOINTS ROB LEE AS ADVISOR

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., July 6, 2023 – Circumference Group announced today that Rob Lee, a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in building and leading complex technology businesses, will join the company as an Advisor.

Rob currently serves as an advisor and board member to emerging technology companies, leveraging his expertise to drive growth and strategic direction.

Most recently, Rob led FIS Impact Ventures, the innovation arm of Fidelity Information Services (FIS). As President, he provided oversight for over 100 venture investments, strategic partnerships, and FIS initiatives in startup innovation, including incubators and FIS Impact Labs.

Prior to this role, Rob ran FIS’ global banking business, where he led a P&L of $2.2 billion, a team of 14,000 employees, and a diverse portfolio of core banking and digital channel solutions serving more than 1,500 global clients. Notably, Rob led the effort to modernize FIS’ banking franchise by launching FIS’ cloud-native core banking solution (Modern Banking Platform), Code Connect, the leading open-API banking solution, and Digital One, a new omnichannel consumer and business digital platform.

During the global pandemic, Rob played a pivotal role in FIS’ support of the US Banking Payment Protection Act. Within weeks, he deployed cutting-edge technology solutions that enabled over 100 US banks to provide payment protection services to more than 100,000 small businesses, demonstrating his commitment to delivering impactful solutions in times of crisis.

Before joining FIS in 2015, Rob was President of Commercial Technology at Convergys Corporation, a global leader in customer management. At Convergys, he ran a profitable division that catered to over 800 licensed and SaaS technology clients worldwide, spanning diverse industries.

Prior to Convergys, Rob spent 11 years at Alltel, where he held the role of Executive Vice President of Product Strategy and Software Development. In this capacity, he spearheaded initiatives, including creation of the first multi-state risk-based pricing platform outside of the bank’s legacy technology organization. Additionally, Rob oversaw the development of retail, consumer, and mortgage banking products, successfully delivering them to the top 100 banks and driving substantial market share growth. He also led the international business process reengineering division, Benchmark Consulting, further solidifying his reputation as a versatile leader.
